The WSOSC activity groups are the heart of our organization!
Outside of our monthly general membership activity, these groups offer us a chance to socialize and pursue our own interests and hobbies together.

I think spouses groups are lifesavers for people who, for whatever reason, need adults to talk to upon occasion that are not teachers, check-out people, or salesmen. I can remember a time when I had small children, one car, and all my neighbors worked. Dreadfully long days!
I love it here, the free stuff...clams, oysters, mussels, crab, salmon, apples, peaches, plums, cherries, mushrooms of all varieties, mild weather, gorgeous mountain views around every corner, a casual, accepting way of life I've not found anywhere else, a wondrous mix of eclectic cultures, cuisine and capabilities.

SHEILAH CARROLL
I’m so happy to be back in my beloved Kitsap County after being on the East Coast for five years. I have two adult children and my husband just recently retired from the Navy. This area is just breathtaking and I can’t wait to explore it even more with this group.

JACQUI LOVELACE
My husband and I are northern California natives but call Poulsbo home. We have a son and a daughter, both young adults currently in college. We love the area and made it our forever home when he retired from the Navy. I love the outdoor beauty of the Pacific Northwest but admittedly I prefer the indoors. I love to craft. Past and current hobbies include cake decorating, jewelry making, knitting, and sewing. I have enjoyed attending WSOSC activities for the past several years. I look forward to seeing all of you at our upcoming events. |

ALICE THOMAS
I grew up in apple country, in a small town outside of Yakima, WA. I graduated from the University of Washington and then proceeded to follow my husband, Dave, for 30+ years of life in Submarines.
I learned how to play Mah Jongg in Japan and have been playing off and on since.
When not playing Mah Jongg or spending time with Dave, I enjoy visiting our two grown sons, Mike, and Steve, a software engineer and an actor.
